COME OUT OF THE SHOWER

If you’ve been crooning in the shower, it’s time to come out and finally let your friends and family know that you love to sing! The Oconomowoc Community Choir is the perfect outlet for that magnificent voice. (And it’s far friendlier than singing into a slippery bar of soap.)

If you desire to sing with a blended voice, are willing to do your best to learn your part, and have a basic ability to read music…

Congratulations!  You qualify!  Read On!

The Oconomowoc Community Choir is a non-auditioned choir for singers of all ages. We perform many different types of music, from show tunes to classical choral works. Our members range in age from teens to retired seniors. And we need your voice!

REHEARSALS

You don’t have to live in Oconomowoc to be a member–we have members from all over Lake country and even beyond. (We cancel rehearsal if driving is hazardous or weather is too severe.)

We rehearse once weekly for approximately 10-12 weeks in advance of our Christmas, Spring and Summer concerts with occasional extra or make-up rehearsals when needed. Rehearsals are held in Oconomowoc at Oconomowoc High School (use door 11 from the back parking lot) or (during the summer) the First Congregational United Church of Christ (815 South Concord Road, lower parking lot).

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Christmas session – $10
Spring session – $15
Summer session – $15

There is a $10 refundable deposit for your music folder payable at the first session.

If you would like to try the choir before you decide whether our group is right for you, you may defer your membership dues for up to three sessions and pay them only after you’ve decided to join the fun for good.
